Photo Gallery ComponentThe Photo Gallery Component will allow you to add a single image or multiple images to your page as thumbnails or as a nice rotating slide show.
Once you have added your Photo Gallery component to your page, click the green “Edit” button to get started with adding images to your page. See "What Are Page Components?" if you are unsure of this step.
There are two ways to add images to your Photo Gallery. You can either drag and drop images from a folder into the “Step 1…” field or simply click on the “Browse” button in this field and locate your images this way. If you choose to “Browse” for your images, you can choose multiple images at once.
Once you have added your images you will see them displayed below the “Step 1…” field and you will now be able to add your required “ALT” text as well as optional Titles and Descriptions.
Once you have added your ALT text, Titles and Descriptions click on the blue “Step 2…Upload” button towards the bottom of the page and your images will begin to upload. *Tip – Once images have been uploaded, you can drag and drop them to rearrange the order that they appear in.
Once the images have been uploaded you can then make adjustments to the Display Options of your Photo Gallery by expanding the “Gallery Options” using the arrow on the right.
Within the Gallery Options, you will have the ability to choose visibility dates for the gallery but this is optional. You can also choose your “Display Mode” and this allows you to select what type of gallery you would like on your page. We offer 2 different Display Modes that give you many options for the layout of your images.
Lightbox Thumbnails will show thumbnails of the images and when clicked they enlarge over your page.
Fotorama Gallery is our most advanced photo gallery. This is a rotating gallery that you can set up to auto rotate and select the number of seconds each image will display (Slide Timing) before rotating to the next image.
You also have the following options when a Fotorama Gallery is chosen:
- Hide Slideshow Buttons – these are white arrows to the left and right of each image to allow your users to navigate through the images at their own pace.
- Display Thumbnails of Slides – you can choose to position thumbnails at the top or bottom of the slideshow when this is selected. Users can simply click on the thumbnail of the images they would like to view if you choose to have thumbnails displayed.
- Shuffle Slides - images shuffle or randomize the order within which they display.
- DisplayFull Screen Option - allows images to be displayed in full-screen mode.
When you are done updating your Gallery Options, click the green “Save” button. You will get a confirmation message once this has been saved.
Now, take a look at your gallery on the public side!
