Event Calendar Component
The Event Calendar Component allows you to choose display options for calendars that you manage inside of the CMS or sync into the CMS.
This component is often added to the main homepage and individual building homepages of your websites. You can display today’s events, upcoming events and/or a monthly clickable calendar.
To get started with setting up your “Event Calendar” component. Click on the green “Edit” button to the right of your component. See "What Are Page Components?" if you are unsure of this step.
If you would like to add a title above your events, click on the arrow at the end of the blue “Component Header Options” bar to expand this section. Your title should be added to the “Header Text” field. Check “Show Component Header” to ensure your header text shows on the public side of your page.
The following fields will setup the Component and allow you to customize how it displays your events:
Event Show Type – Here you can choose to display “Upcoming Events” or “Today’s Events.”
- Upcoming Events will not only display Today’s Events but will pull future events into the Component.
- Today’s Events is good to use if your calendar features multiple daily events.
Show Monthly Calendar – If selected, a monthly clickable calendar will be displayed along with your events.
Number of Events to Display – Limit the number of events that will display in a list down your page. This value can be set to any number from 0 – 20 events.
Event Groups to Show – Select the Event Groups you wish to pull into the component and display on your page. You can check as many boxes as you would like to pull in events from as many buildings or site sections in your organization as needed.
Ensure you save your changes by clicking "Save" at the bottom of the component.
